How To Care For Wool

Details & Care

"Our flagship is the Icelandic fleece, which has a history spanning over a millennium in harsh Icelandic weather conditions. The wool is warm, light, breathable and water repellent. For a long time the Icelandic wool was one of the Iceland's biggest exports." - Varma, Designer & Manufacturer in Iceland

How to care for my wool piece:

  • Hand-wash with luke warm water.
  • Do not put in the dryer.
  • Do not ring out water after washing. It is best to press or squeeze gently and then roll in a towel for absorption.
  • Lay flat to dry.
  • Be mindful that Icelandic wool is a natural deodorizer when left on its own.
